Teaching categorizing is a great way to help individuals with ASD organize the world around them. Finding which one doesn't belong is an advanced categorizing skill, and will help reinforce and generalize the concept. And today we're categorizing what food doesn't belong!
X Marks the Spot:
In this free autism resource, have your student put an "X" on the food that does not belong in each row. There is one clear answer - but your student may pick up on something else - so there is not necessarily a correct answer as long as it can be justified!
